Learn More About Ghondor in the Xenoblade Chronicles 3 Future Redeemed DLC

Nintendo revealed through the Xenoblade Chronicles Japanese Twitter account more information about Ghondor, the grandfather of Matthew and Na’el, and a key figure in the establishment of the first City during the events of the Xenoblade Chronicles 3 DLC expansion Future Redeemed. He is trusted by everyone in The City and seems to be a seasoned martial artist.

Ghondor is also the ancestor of Monica and her daughter in the main story of Xenoblade Chronicles 3. He shares his name with Monica’s daughter. His descendants will go on to become one of the six founding fathers of the new City, and will serve a crucial role in the defeat of Moebius in the future of Aionios.

Ghondor is voiced by Bin Shimada in the Japanese dub of the Future Redeemed DLC. He is known for having previously voiced Tobimaro Mizunokoji in Urusei Yatsura, Yuichiro Kumada in the original Sailor Moon anime, and Zack in the Dead or Alive franchise.

The Xenoblade Chronicles 3 Future Redeemed DLC releases with wave 4 of the Expansion Pass in April 25, 2023. Nintendo also released a relationship chart of the different characters that will appear in the DLC.
