This week’s Nintendo eShop highlight is a demo for Lego The Lord of the Rings. All versions of this game are based on The Lords of the Rings trilogy. Details on the 3DS version are light, but the game’s page on Nintendo’s site mentions 80 playable characters and an open world.

Joining it is Mario Golf, for the Game Boy Color, as this week’s 3DS Virtual Console release. That costs $4.99. Also on the eShop this week is Crazy Kangaroo, a platformer for $3.99.

Finally, the Wii Virtual Console gets The Last Blade 2, a fighting game originally released for the Neo Geo. It picks up where its predecessor left off and has 16 selectable swordsmen, along with two sword types: Strength an Attack. It costs 900 Wii Points ($9).
