At E3 2018, Square Enix and DontNod revealed a free game called The Awesome Adventures of Captain Spirit. It was a brief adventure along the lines of Life is Strange that acted as a teaser for Life is Strange 2. Now, Life is Strange 2 is bringing Chris Eriksen, Captain Spirit himself, back for the second episode of this adventure. When Life is Strange 2 Episode 2 is released, people will get to see the Diaz brothers interact with Eriksen. Decisions from that game will even have an effect on this second episode’s events.
Life is Strange 2′s second episode begins with a detour. The brothers make their way to their grandparent’s house, as Daniel isn’t feeling well and needs a safe place to rest up and get better. While there, they meet Chris, who lives right next door to their grandparents. Sean tries to get Daniel to stop fooling around with, talking about, using his powers carefully, and running from danger. Their grandparents seem to have some idea of what is going on, as their grandmother talks with Sean about what happened back home and with their father.

Life is Strange 2‘s second episode, "Rules," will be released on January 24, 2019 for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
