Leading up to Xenoblade Chronicles: Definitive Edition’s debut, Nintendo has been sharing all sorts of details about the updated port via social media. The latest is another opportunity to hear how the game will sound ahead of launch. But this new track is even more special. That’s because this is Xenoblade Chronicles Future Connected music. People can now check out the new battle theme.

This new battle theme is called “Time to Fight! (Bionis’ Shoulder).” It is a variant of the “Time to Fight!” field track you might hear in the original Xenoblade Chronicles: Definitive Edition storyline.

To compare, here’s the remastered version of the original "Time to Fight!" Nintendo shared a sample of it on Twitter earlier in May 2020.

This track marks the first time the Nintendo Europe Twitter account has shared some Xenoblade Chronicles Future Connected music. When it comes to other songs from the game, the company has been really open. It all kicked off back in April 2020, when the remastered “Colony 9” track was shared. Since then, multiple song samples have been released.

In case you missed them, here are some other samples from the Xenoblade Chronicles: Definitive Edition that were also shared by Nintendo ahead of the game’s launch. Here’s a little bit from the remastered version of “Engage the Enemy.”

Xenoblade Chronicles: Definitive Edition will appear on the Nintendo Switch on May 29, 2020. As a reminder, you can choose if it uses the original or remastered soundtrack. Xenoblade Chronicles is also available on the Nintendo Wii and Nintendo 3DS.
