Yasuda made a post in both Japanese and English stating that there have been many requests for a physical release of Lollipop Chainsaw RePop. Due to this demand, the team at Dragami Games are now looking into it alongside a digital download release. If the plans are successful, the team will aim for a worldwide release. It’s unknown if the team will aim for a physical release at launch or if this will be a limited release later.

With Lollipop Chainsaw RePop set for a greater reveal soon and a proposed Summer 2024 release date, it’s likely that more news on a potential physical release is also imminent.

Lollipop Chainsaw RePop is a remake of the 2012 Grasshopper Manufacture game Lollipop Chainsaw, developed by Dragami Games. It starred a cheerleader named Juliet surviving the zombie apocalypse using a chainsaw accompanied by her boyfriend’s magically revived severed head. Neither Suda51 nor Gunn will be involved in the production of the remake.

Lollipop Chainsaw RePop is set for release sometime in Summer 2024. The game’s platforms have not yet been announced.
