Lost and Found: Doshin the Giant’s expansion pack

This article is over 17 years old and may contain outdated information

One of the creative titles developed by Nintendo on the ill-fated 64DD was a god game known as Doshin the Giant. Doshin would grow in size by doing helping the nearby islanders by clearing land for them and absorbing their love. Doshin could also turn into the hate giant and terrorize the residents, if you’re the sadistic type. Nintendo eventually ported Doshin the Giant to the Gamecube in 2002 where it was released in Japan and in English in Europe. North America missed out on the experience all together and gamers who picked up the Gamecube version missed out on a second take on the game where you rescue the giant from imprisonment. Doshin’s sequel requires the first 64DD disc to play and you don’t play as Doshin, instead you take control of a child in a dream world. The sequel is pretty hard to come by so it’s a treat to see someone post videos of it online even though few people know about the series. Enjoy a look at a rare game!
