Spike Chunsoft and tri-Ace are teaming up for a new “side-view RPG,” and they’ve recruited LovePlus character designer Mino Taro to join as the character designer for the upcoming title.
Earlier this year we reported that LovePlus series senior producer Akari Uchida left Konami alongside Mino Taro, and it appears the LovePlus character designer has landed himself a new job working with Spike Chunsoft and tri-Ace.
Here’s what Mino Taro had to say on Twitter about the announcement:
“Shocking scoop!! As it turns out, I’ll be in charge of the character designs for Spike Chunsoft and tri-Ace’s new RPG. In the midst of such talented names being announced, I’m sure some of you said ‘awesome!’ upon seeing my own name! This is a lot of pressure, but I’ll whip myself into shape and do my best!”
Additionally, the teaser site has revealed that Star Ocean composer Motoi Sakuraba will be in charge of the music for the upcoming RPG. We’ll have more news as the website reveals its next keyword.
