Madworld Splattering Its Way Into Japan Without Sega

image When Sega announced Madworld it was only for North America and Europe. Sticking to their plan, Sega only released the ultraviolent Wii game in those regions. Infinite Space which came out in July was Japan’s introduction to PlatinumGames.

But, Madworld found a way back to Japan. Sega just isn’t as involved with its release. Spike picked up the publishing rights to Madworld. In addition to developing Kenka Bancho: Badass Rumble, Spike releases a lot of Western titles like Bioshock and Call of Duty 3. Spike doesn’t shy away from publishing CERO Z rated games either and Madworld is very likely to be for adults only in Japan.

Madworld will finally come out in Japan this winter.
