This week is a holiday week in the USA and Nintendo’s shopping channel is slowing down with only two new games on the virtual storefront. Magentica Twist (aka Actionloop Twist aka Minna de Puzzloop) is this week’s WiiWare morsel and it is essentially Magnetica from the Nintendo DS. The twists are a social mode for up to four players, aiming with the Wii remote, and placing your Mii in the seat of a marble shooting cannon. Magnetica Twist costs 1,000 Wii Points ($10). If you’re looking for something a notch cheaper Fatal Fury 2 is on the Virtual Console for 900 Wii Points ($9).
Alternatively, you can spend your money of Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: My Life as a King downloadable content. Nintendo didn’t outline what content was scheduled to come out, but it is likely to be similar to, if not the same as, the initial list of downloadable content in the Japanese version. Luxurious houses are only for those that can afford it.
Update: Square Enix sent a list over with what you can purchase and it's the same as the recent update in Japan. You can purchase summer outfits for Chime and the King. One of the outfits is called "Summer Chime". Game changing content includes the 200 Wii Point ($2) library, a structure that teaches race specific abilities, and for 300 Wii Points ($3) you can add the Infinite Spire, a growing dungeon for adventurers.
