Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves will be the second playable appearance of Marco Rodrigues since his debut in Garou: Mark of the Wolves. While originally known as Khushnood Butt in English versions of the series, his new appearance acknowledges his international name as canon. He is a practitioner of Kyokugen karate fighting to discover who has stolen his dojo sign. He currently trains at the Yuri Fitness Club, which was shown as the stage in his trailer.

Marco’s voice actors have also been confirmed. In English, he will be voiced by Earl Baylon, who previously voiced Jonah in the Tomb Raider series. In Japanese, he will be voiced by Kenichiro Matsuda, who previously voiced Thors in Vinland Saga.

Marco’s inclusion is one of several fighting game announcements to come out of Evo Japan 2024. Other news included the release for Akuma in Street Fighter 6, Lidia Sobieska coming to Tekken 8 and Slayer coming to Guilty Gear: Strive. A playable demo of Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves was also available at the show.

Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves will release in early 2025. SNK has yet to confirm which platforms it will be releasing for.
