Mario Golf: Super Rush Trailer Looks at Its 4 Modes

Nintendo released quite a lengthy Mario Golf: Super Rush trailer that looks how you play, who you play as, and the modes you can go through. Every element is covered, from optional motion controls to the RPG-like Golf Adventure mode.

First, the video talked about the control schemes. Someone can use the Joy-Cons to play with motion controls. However, traditional control schemes are also available.

Then, the Mario Golf: Super Rush trailer went over the roster. 16 characters will be in the game at launch. When you hover over one, you can see their power, stamina, speed, control, and spin stats. Here’s the full list of playable people shown in the video:

  • Boo
  • Bowser
  • Bowser Jr
  • Chargin’ Chuck
  • Daisy
  • Donkey Kong
  • King Bob-omb
  • Luigi
  • Mario
  • Pauline
  • Peach
  • Rosalina
  • Toad
  • Waluigi
  • Wario
  • Yoshi

As for Mario Golf: Super Rush modes, there were four shown in the video. In addition to both the Golf Adventure RPG-like affair and Standard Golf, two more unconventional options will appear. Battle Golf is a nine hole game where you play all at once and try to score three of them before any other player. Speed Golf is where you’re all playing at once, using things like Special Dashes and Shots, to get the best score.

Here’s the full Mario Golf: Super Rush trailer, which looks at controls, characters, and modes.

Mario Golf: Super Rush will come to the Nintendo Switch on June 25, 2021.
