Masquerade As Gurren Lagann In Phantasy Star Portable 2 Infinity

Sega and animation studio Gainax have even more crossover items in Phantasy Star Portable 2 Infinity. The last PSP game, Phantasy Star Portable 2, introduced Evangelion items. Phantasy Star Portable 2 Infinity has a full blown Gurren Lagann costume for male characters to wear.

The game also has two Gurren Lagann weapons: Giga Drill and Gurren Boomerang to use while you’re dressed as a mech. No news if Sega has plans for a female costume, like Yoko’s outfit or anything of the sort.

Gainax also let Sega create even more Evangelion costumes for Phantasy Star Portable 2 Infinity. You can get school uniform outfits for Shinji, Rei, and Mari in the game.

Phantasy Star Portable 2 Infinity has the plug suits plus items like the Lance of Longinus which were in Phantasy Star Portable 2 too. These were included in the North American version, so maybe (just maybe!) if Sega localizes this version of Phantasy Star Portable 2 we’ll see Gurren Lagann in it.
