In the first Mass Effect: Andromeda official gameplay series video, BioWare went over the game’s combat. In the second installment, the focus is more on characters. It starts by going over players’ avatar, Ryder the Pathfinder, before moving on to teammates.

The beginning of this Mass Effect: Andromeda video acts as a bridge between the combat and character elements. It starts by talking about the combat, tech, and biotic skills Ryder can learn. It then goes over how unlocking skills will give you access to new profiles with various perks. As an example, the Explorer profile is mentioned. It ranks up when skill points are invested in combat, tech, and biotic skills and can increase weapon damage, damage resistance, tech recharge speed, biotic power damage, and power restoration and defense rates. A rank 2 Explorer also gets Biotic Blink, which allows evades to let you teleport a short distance away from your original point. Finally, after the three minute point, time is devoted to the squadmates Cora, Jaal, Vetra, Drack, Peebee, and Liam. It then focuses on how you and your squad can fight together.

Mass Effect: Andromeda will come to the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC in North America on March 21, 2017. It will arrive in Europe on March 23, 2017.
