94cfd485 It’s recently been revealed that the upcoming 3DS title, Medabots: Girls Mission, is getting a CERO C rating in Japan, making it the first of its series to get a “mature” rating. [Thanks, Hachima.]

The above is a look at the two covers for Medabots: Girls Mission, with Kabuto version to the left and Kuwagata on the right. As you can see, they’re rated CERO C, which is for “ages 15 and up,” and also has the black box, used by Nintendo for their mature titles.

Keep in mind that it’s not CERO D (Japan’s version of ESRB’s Mature rating,) which is for ages 17 and up, meaning children under the age can’t buy the games without ID or permission. CERO C is a rating used for games that “may contain moderate sexual content, more violence, or more frequent use of profanity,” so this makes it first of its kind for the Medabots series.

We also got a look at a couple version-exclusive girls, with two from Kabuto on the left and the the two on the right from Kuwagata.

Medabots: Girls Mission Kabuto and Kuwagata will release in Japan on March 10, 2016. You can check out our previous report for more details.
