The upcoming smartphone game Medabots S has finally gotten a release date, and players will need to wait until January 23, 2020 in order to play the game.
The game keeps the series’ traditional Robattle systems, being command-based with customizable parts. Previously, the game had a Fall/Winter 2019 window, meaning it was pushed back, likely for the usual reasons.
Story-wise, we follow main character Arase Osumi as he finds himself entering a Robattle tournament called the “Medalympics” where the winners can have any wish granted. Throughout the game, he finds out about other organizations, such as evil militants after the prize, who will do anything to get in the way of others.
Medabots S will begin service on iOS and Android on January 23, 2020.
