Etrian Odyssey Untold II: The Knight of Fafnir recently introduced its beast of a protagonist along with the princess heroine. The official website also tells us more about the three supporting characters who’ll play big roles in the game’s story.

Flavio

Flavio is the protagonist’s childhood friend, and currently a member of the Mizgarz expedition group. He’s the always-cheerful, talkative, and the life of the party of the guild.

Since this Ranger is straightforward kind of guy, he’s often the guy who keeps others in check.

Chloe

Chloe is a War Magus who traveled alongside Bertrand. She’s a strange deadpan girl who doesn’t talk much, and only budges when she finds something interesting. The few times she actually speaks, she can be a little outspoken, but never means any harm.

Bertrand

The protagonist suddenly meets Bertrand at the Ginnunga Ruins, where a certain ceremony takes place every hundred years. Bertrand is a feeble and irresponsible guy, which kind of goes against the ideal image of his class as a paladin.

Etrian Odyssey Untold II: The Knight of Fafnir will release this winter in Japan for Nintendo 3DS.
