After two weeks of waiting, Mega Man is a downloadable game via the Virtual Console. You can exploit ElecMan’s weapon and conquer the seven robot masters for 500 Wii Points ($5). Any Mega Man fans considering purchasing this may want to seek out Mega Man: Anniversary Collection on the Gamecube. The compilation contains Mega Man 1-8 plus, two Mega Man boss battling arcade, and, regrettably, an unorthodox button layout.
Neo Geo Turf Masters is the other Virtual Console game this week for 900 Wii Points ($9). Pick one of six golfers, then select courses from Japan, Germany, Australia, and the Grand Canyon (USA) to golf in. No Samurai Shodown 2 this week. Nintendo has to space out Virtual Console games to make WiiWare titles like Midnight Pool from Gameloft more attractive. This game lets you live the life of a pool hustler, gambling your way up the food chain of bars, for 800 Wii Points ($8).
