Back in November 2017, Marvel Heroes was shut down abruptly on all platforms. Now, Microsoft is attempting to make things right for some Xbox One owners who purchased DLC for Marvel Heroes Omega near the end. Automatic refunds are being made for people who purchased DLC for the game between September 1, 2017 and November 29, 2017. (November 29, 2017 is the day the game was removed from the Microsoft Store.)
The Marvel Heroes Omega DLC refunds will be doled out in one of two ways, depending on when the add-ons were purchased. People who bought DLC for the game between September 1 and October 30, 2017 will receive store credit by January 31, 2018. People who bought DLC between October 31 and November 29, 2017 will have the refund applied to the payment method used to purchase the DLC at that time. (If you used a credit card, the transaction will be undone, and if you paid with store credit, you will have that credit restored.)
Marvel Heroes Omega was shut down on November 29, 2017. It was available for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, while Marvel Heroes 2016 was available on the PC.
