It’s a little anticlimactic, but Microsoft officially announced that the Xbox 360 Elite isn’t a fabrication. The new Xbox 360 package comes with a 120 GB hard drive instead of the 20GB hard drive, a HDMI port, a HD cable, headset, wireless controller and a console with a black coat of paint. The Xbox 360 Elite retails for $479.99. If you already have an Xbox 360 you can purchase a 120 GB hard drive separately for $179.99 to hold your collection of South Park, Robot Chicken and Aqua Teen Hunger Force episodes. Microsoft will also sell wireless controllers, headsets and rechargeable battery packs with a black finish if you’re inclined to color coordinate your controllers.
