Microsoft’s Global Marketing team at work: Xbox 360 ad for India

To promote the Xbox 360 in India Microsoft teamed up with MTV India for the new spot. The ad showcases Porok a sport played in certain regions of rural India where two competitors head butt each other out of a ring. Game On?

Past the jump we have clips of other Xbox 360 ads around the world.

If you’re in North America you’ve seen this spot before. It’s the ad where everyone is jumping rope.

In Japan, Microsoft has a different approach with Tokio, a J-Pop boy band, sing “Do Do Do”. Takashi Sensui, the man behind the Xbox in Japan, believes that having Tokio’s in the ad could get people to try out the Xbox 360.

Microsoft chose not to release this commercial on a TV spot, but it still made its way online.

Going along with the above ad is this “supposed” audition of a woman trying out to be in the fake gun ad. Pretty funny stuff.
