Minecraft-themed pillows and blankets will appear in Japan. Fashion Center Shimamura has announced that it will sell the aforementioned items, which also include hugging pillows of Alex, Steve, and the Zombie from Minecraft. The globally popular game Minecraft is also well-known in Japan. Children readers of the Japanese manga magazine CoroCoro voted for Minecraft among their top ten liked game series in 2020. Characters from the game also made their way into the DLC lineup of Super Smash Bros. Ultimate.

The latest version of Minecraft: Bedrock Edition is available on PC, Xbox Series X, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, and PlayStation 4 with cross-play support. The PlayStation versions also support the original PlayStation VR device.
