Chronus Arc from retro JRPG developer Kemco puts you in the shoes of Loka, a young lad who lives in a world where time rewinds every ten years. While you’re on your way to pick up fragments for the Time Rewinding ceremony, a mysterious man grabs the fragments and Loka along with his childhood friend Sarna (who also happens to be a princess) joins him on his quest.
Like other Kemco RPGs, Chronus Arc has random battles and sprite graphics. Players can get new skills by finding techniques in treasure chests and from enemy drops. The game also has a class change system where you can can change jobs if your level is high enough and have a class change item.
The game also has puzzles where you push blocks into place and find hidden switches by lifting urns. You know the kinds of things you would find in a Zelda game or Final Fantasy Mystic Quest. Chronus Arc is available now for Android and is $3.99 (50% off) at launch..
