Ryozo Tsujimoto made an appearance in Nintendo Direct for third party 3DS games this morning, to show and discuss the latest features that will be added to Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate, along with a look at the game’s latest trailer.

The trailer shows some of the new footage including a look at the remade version of the Old Desert, to go with familiar monsters like Daimyo Hermitaur, Monoblos and Diablos among others who’ll make a come-back in Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate.

Finally, it ends with a look at the new gold-scaled monster giving the hunter in the video quite the rough time. This monster was originally teased in a  previous trailer. Oh, and we also catch a glimpse of a funky-looking Felyne.

Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate is slated for release in Japan on October 11, 2014, and in the West in early 2015 for Nintendo 3DS.
