Monster Hunter Rise Sunbreak Title Update Schedule Revealed

Monster Hunter fans can look forward to a steady stream of additional content. Capcom revealed the planned Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak Title Update schedule during its showcase stream on June 14, 2022. According to the plan, three updates are planned for 2022 (and early 2023), with more planned through mid-2023 and beyond. These title updates will be free.

Monster Hunter Rise Sunbreak Title Update

The first Monster Hunter Rise Sunbreak Title Update will arrive two months after release, in August 2022. The update will add new monsters, with the lineup headed up by Lucent Nargacuga. The lineup includes special and rare species variants. A new locale called the Forlorn Arena will also expands the game world.

The second and third Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak title updates will land in Fall 2022 and Winter 2022. The Fall update will add rare, subspecies, and powered-up monsters, and the Winter update will add special and powered-up monsters. Besides monsters, locales and other types of content will be added via the updates as well, with even more planned for the 2023 window.

Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak will launch on June 30, 2022 on Nintendo Switch and PC. A playable demo of the game is available as of June 14, 2022, with support for four-player co-op and multiple monsters to tackle.
