Capcom’s newest trailer for Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings of Ruin confirmed the RPG will also come to the PC via Steam. The company originally announced the spin-off title only for Nintendo Switch. However, the newest trailer with release date information confirmed the additional platform. Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings of Ruin will launch worldwide on July 9, 2021 for both the Nintendo Switch and PC via Steam.
Capcom held a Monster Hunter March Digital Event with a plethora of new information for its two upcoming titles. Although it ramped up its efforts on Monster Hunter Rise, we hadn’t heard too much about its RPG spin-off title, Monster Hunter Stories 2. However, Capcom showed off a new trailer for the title with a monstrous amount of new details. We saw more of the story and its characters, its amiibo, and a deluxe edition. However, one tidbit of information that flew under the radar was the announcement of the game coming to the PC at the same time as Nintendo Switch. In a similar fashion, we recently heard that Monster Hunter Rise will also come PC, though that will be after its initial launch on Nintendo’s hybrid platform.
