Moon Will Release for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5

Moon PlayStation 4 5

Onion Games will release Moon for the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5. A listing on the PlayStation Store revealed this information and shared that the title will release for both consoles. However, neither the PlayStation 4 nor PlayStation 5 port of Moon have a confirmed release date. Additionally, the game is currently only listed on the Japanese PlayStation store. [Thanks, Gematsu!]

Moon originally released for the PlayStation in 1997 to Japanese audiences, with the first Western release arriving on the Nintendo Switch in August 2020. The title features unique gameplay mechanics that rely on the player to raise affinity with the characters they can interact with. Additionally, Moon will arrive on the PC through the Steam storefront. However, similarly to the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 versions, it does not have a release date as of yet.

The PC release of Moon will come with an MD system, which will allow for players to create their own soundtrack. Using this feature, players can access the soundtrack of the game and create their own playlist that they can listen to in the game itself.

Moon is immediately available on the Nintendo Switch, and will release for the PC, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation 5 sometime in the future.
