Media Vision made an unorthodox decision when they decided players should move Dorothy with a virtual trackball. This was shown in a Riz-zowad trailer, but D3 Publisher came forward with additional information about how the trackball works. You roll it forward to make Dorothy run. If she moves too fast you can tap the center of the trackball to make Dorothy stop in her tracks. See the two arrows on the bottom of the touch screen? These are used to make her turn left or right so you can run in the right direction. It doesn’t look like there is a standard D-pad control option. Love it or hate it, you’re stuck with the touch screen trackball.
A dog icon, likely to represent Toto, can also be seen on the right hand side. Hmm… I wonder what this does. Could it make Toto search for things?
