Aksys is bringing Guilty Gear XX Accent Core Plus over here this spring on three consoles. Wait, three consoles?
Originally, Guilty Gear XX Accent Core Plus was a PlayStation 2 game and a fix for the buggy mess Japan got. Then it got ported to the PSP with ad-hoc play. In North America you can match Justice against Kliff on the Wii too.
Returning combatants are nice and all, but why should Guilty Gear fans buy a game previously released in 2007? Story mode. Guilty Gear XX Accent Core Plus covers the back stories for the 25 playable characters with fully voiced cutscenes. Find out more about “That Man” (that’s really his name) here. Speaking of features it looks like the 3 on 3 tag battle introduced in the PSP version is going to be in all versions of Aksys’ release. Apologies to anyone who imported the PS2 game from Japan.
