More on Final Fantasy XII: Revenant Wings

In Ivalice sky pirates speak of a legendary floating island protected by a crystal controlled barrier. The Egul, a tribe of winged beings no larger than a hume, live in the Remless ruins built on the floating island. While searching for treasure, Vaan and Penelo discover the lost land and meet Riyudo, one of the Egul. The story of Revenant Wings is a separate adventure starring Vaan and Penelo. In the transition from the PS2 to the DS the characters in Final Fantasy XII lost their realistic style in exchange for the sprites similar to how they look in the Sky Pirates’ Den achievement section. The battle system also makes changes to the active dimension system. In the screenshot we can see four characters in combat with life bars over their heads. It might look like a strategy RPG, but it isn’t. Instead the battle system has players tap characters with the stylus and then tap their target to execute attacks. On the bottom of the screen we can see familiar commands like “gambit” and “mist knack”.
