Sure the Playstation 3 is out, but development hasn’t ceased on the Playstation 2. Banpresto is planning Super Robot Taisen Original Generations for release on January 27, 2006. While the Super Robot Taisen series is one of the biggest franchises in Japan licensing issues prevented the simulation RPGs from coming over to the West. Since the PS2 game has all original robots, it’s possible the game could come out in English. Atlus already localized the first two Original Generation GBA games and since the PS2 game is a remake of the  GBA they seem to be most likely publisher to pick this game up. New features for the PS2 release include better graphics and a tweaked fighting system based off of future installments in the SRT series.
