My Hero One’s Justice 2 Intruder Events Introduced

Something popped up in My Hero One’s Justice 2. Literally, there’s an invasion as part of the September 30, 2020 update. Bandai Namco announced that there are now My Hero One’s Justice 2 Intruder Events in-game. People will get to face someone else in a fight and earn rewards as a result.

Here’s how an Intruder Event will work. A Kill Count Event, Raid Battle Event, or Score Event could randomly trigger after you take part in a random or unranked match. Each one has different objectives. In each case, your goal is to fight against and try to defeat the opponent, with rewards given out based on how many times you kill the character, when you defeat the character, or based on your score from your actions.

In the case of both the Kill Count and Raid Battle ones, the patch notes said the CPU will be “extremely strengthened from usual.” However, the Kill Count Intruder Event character will be the same each time you face them until they’re defeated, to help with taking them down.

The My Hero One’s Justice 2 Invader Events aren’t the only addition. A few characters had their attacks rebalanced. As pointed out in the official notes, Endeavor, Fat Gum (Skinny), Fumikage Tokoyami, Gang Orca, Gran Torino, Hawks, Izuku Midoriya 100%, Kai Chisaki (Overhaul), Kyoka Jiro, Mei Hatsune, Mina Ashido, Nomu, Shoto Todoroki, Sir Nighteye, Tamaki Amajiki, and Tsuyu Asui had moves adjusted.

There has been a steady stream of both free and paid updates for My Hero One’s Justice 2 since its launch. The most recent paid DLC character was Mei Hatsune, who’s known for her Zoom Quirk. (Though, in game, she’s really great with gadgets.) We also saw it get free English voice acting and a photo mode.

My Hero One’s Justice 2 is available for the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
