For those unfamiliar with the series, Kaii to Otome to Kamikakushi follows bookstore employees Sumireko Ogawa and Ren Adashino. The two end up constantly getting caught up in supernatural situations as they are approached by and hear about things while working together at a book store. The manga will be showing up in English, with Seven Seas Entertainment releasing volume 1 in May 2024, but the anime started its run worldwide on April 10, 2024.

As the show already began airing in Japan, this means people can already start watching it. The listing for the show is live on the service and its site. The first episode is called “The Cursed Book, the Maiden, and the Birthday. It involves Sumireko getting caught up in a mystery after being given a strange book.

It seems we won’t see an English dub of the Kaii to Otome to Kamikakushi anime, however, Crunchyroll didn’t update its listing of Spring 2024 dubs with it. The last confirmation to show up there involved the Hindi dub of the show A Salad Bowl of Eccentrics.

The Mysterious Disappearances anime is on Crunchyroll now, with one episode available and new ones apparently appearing every Wednesday. The manga will appear in English on May 21, 2024.
