Nintendo has announced a North American National StreetPass Weekend. Between September 30 and October 1, 2016, people will be able to visit any Nintendo Zone location with their Nintendo 3DS system and acquire StreetPasses from people across the country.

This National StreetPass Weekend is being held in honor of Yo-Kai Watch 2. The Nintendo 3DS game will launch on September 30, 2016, the day the event begins. The original Yo-Kai Watch allowed other players’ Yo-Kai to stay in your game’s inn after StreetPassing with them, and Nintendo’s announcement says this weekend will give you a chance to see new Yo-Kai after connecting with other players again.

It also provides an opportunity to StreetPass with Dragon Quest VII: Fragments of the Forgotten Past players. You can share a Traveller’s Tablet with people you pass by and receive one of theirs in return. Dragon Quest VII: Fragments of the Forgotten Past is immediately available for the Nintendo 3DS.
