New Capcom Beer Mugs Feature Resident Evil, Mega Man, and MHR

Capcom announced a new line of glass beer mugs based on the Super Tyrant from Resident Evil, Lan Hikari and MegaMan from Mega Man Battle Network, and the Guild Manager from Monster Hunter Rise. Each mug costs ¥3,300 yen (or about $22), and they are expected to release in Japan on October 26, 2023. The new Capcom glass beer mugs are now available for pre-order from the e-Capcom online store.

The mugs have a capacity of 360 milliliters each. Each mug is decorated with different motifs from their respective games, and engraved with English text imitating the promotional beer mugs of popular Japanese beer brands.

The RE Super Tyrant mug is engraved with Umbrella logos, and the quote “The ultimate power and ultimate evil in one gruesome package”. Meanwhile, the MHR mug celebrates Gokoku, the Wise Elder of Kamura Village that manages the Gathering Hub. The MMBN mug celebrates the series, with the engraving “Since 2001” referencing the release date of the first game for the Game Boy Advance.

Back in July 2023, Capcom collaborated with tech accessory brand tomtoc to release a variety of protective carry bags based on Monster Hunter Rise Sunbreak.

The expected release date for the new Capcom glass beer mugs is October 26, 2023, and they are now available for pre-order from the Japanese e-Capcom online store in Japan.
