New Digimon Pendulum Color Will Arrive in 2024

Bandai announced that it will release Digimon Pendulum Color devices in 2024. The company made the reveal in 2023 to coincide with the 25th anniversary of the original Digimon Pendulum device, which came out in 1998. [Thanks, 4Gamer!]

The new device will still have the same size as the original Digimon Pendulum, but it will come with a lot of new features. Other than full-colored sprites, the device will have an internal battery that the user can charge with a USB-C cable.

The new Pendulum will have a backup slot to store an additional Digimon or use it for Jogress / DNA Digivolutions. It can also interact with other Pendulums or the previously released Digimon Color devices to unlock even more monsters and backgrounds.

Bandai has uploaded a promotional movie for the Digimon Pendulum Color on YouTube. The Japanese trailer also includes English subtitles.

Pre-orders for Digimon Pendulum Color are available first in Japan via Premium Bandai until November 2, 2023. The device will be available in three colors — Nature Spirits, Deep Savers, and Nightmare Soldiers — and each of them will feature a different roster of Digimon. Each device will be available at ¥7,150 (~$48).

Bandai has been re-releasing its legacy Digimon devices in recent times. In August 2023, the company revealed new replicas of the D-3 Digivice from the Digimon Adventure 02 anime. The new version will have additional features, and its pre-orders are available worldwide via Amiami.

Digimon Pendulum Color will be available in Japan in February 2024. Bandai has also stated that there is a possibility for the devices to be sold internationally as well.
