New Dragon Quest IX Scan

Jeux-France, by way of Shonen Jump magazine, has recently posted scans that show off more of Dragon Quest IX, which is headed to the DS instead of a console. The scans also include information about detailing and customizing your own character as well as some gameplay information, which, according to the recent article at IGN, will remained menu (re: turn) based as opposed to the action route originally rumored at the time of Dragon Quest IX’s unveiling. I’m all for turn-based combat. Then again, I prefer turn-based combat over real time. I just like the chess feel turn-based combat gives. Such depth!
