New FFVII Remake Intergrade PS5 Footage Introduces Yuffie

ffvii remake intergrade yuffie dlc PS5

PlayStation Access shared a new look at FF7R INTERmission. The thing is, this time both clips of footage from the Yuffie DLC and FFVII Remake Intergrade PS5 version appear. It also points out some of the things updated or added in this new take on FFVII. For example, a Weiss fight and Yuffie’s theme.

The video begins seemingly right as Yuffie’s DLC episode does, as it has a FF7R INTERmission introduction to her. After being swarmed by some pigeons, we see her use her ninja skills to recover and land gracefully. She explains her mission, which is to steal Shinra’s “ultimate materia.” She mentions the goal is to prove Wutai’s strength and that she’ll be working with Avalanche to accomplish the goal. She also shows off a few of the materia she already has. While she does, a new take on “Yuffie’s Theme” plays.

After that, the preview video looks at other features. Fort Condor comes up next, showing how the RTS works. We also get to see Yuffie explore Sector 7 and meet even more NPCs. After that, we see how she wields her shuriken and how Ramuh brings down lightning. As a reminder, Ramuh has been inflicting Judgment Bolt on opponents since his debut as a summon in Final Fantasy III. He also appeared in the original Final Fantasy VII, though people had to wait until getting to the Gold Saucer to acquire that materia.

Here’s the full PlayStation Access preview video looking at the FFVII Remake Intergrade Yuffie DLC running on the PS5.

Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade and the Yuffie DLC will come to the PS5 on June 10, 2021.
