Evo 2019 had a surprise announcement from Arc System Works, where Guilty Gear creator Daisuke Ishiwatari made an appearance to announce a new Guilty Gear and teaser trailer reveal.

A full title wasn’t announced other than “Guilty Gear” but Ishiwatari-san said that he wanted to share a look at what he’s been up to since he hasn’t been to Evo in a couple years. While he couldn’t share any further details, the company is looking to bring a “new Guilty Gear experience” for the fans.

The new Guilty Gear game is expected to release  in 2020.
