Bandai Namco revealed at Japan Amusement Expo this weekend that Mobile Suit Gundam: Extreme VS Maxi Boost On will release for Japanese arcades on March 9, 2016.
The above trailer shows that the “EX Overdrive” and “EX Burst” system has been mixed up to create three new types of EX Bursts.
“Fighting Burst” specializes in melee attacks that can break the enemy’s guard, while
“Shooting Burst” speeds up reloads with effects on shooting attacks, and the “Extend Burst” allows you to use the EX Burst when you have half an EX Gauge and take an attack.
The game will feature a variety of new Mobile Suits from the latest Gundam series, such as Gundam Barbatos from Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans. There will also be plenty of new actions to check out, including some new matchmaking functions and a rematch feature.
