Castti’s Octopath Traveler 2 story starts in Harborlands as she searches for clues about herself and her goals after awakening with amnesia. She’s voiced by Sarah Weidenheft. During the day, she can talk to NPCs to Inquire about information. At night, she can use the ability Soothe to put an NPC to sleep if she has the right items. In battle, she can Concoct potions out of ingredients. In a pinch, her latent power lets her use Concoct without ingredients.

As for Ochette, she’s in Toto’haha and searching for legendary creatures ahead of the Night of the Scarlet Moon. She’s voiced by Suzie Yeung. During the day, she can use one of her monsters to Provoke an NPC and start a fight with them. At night, she can befriend an NPC with items and make them an ally. In battle, she can use Capture and Prepare to get monsters to use as allies or turn one she’s already acquired into an item. Her Animal Instincts latent power involves access to special skills.

As for their Crossed Path tale in Octopath Traveler 2, it will see Castti and Ochette investigating the sudden absence of animals outside Cropdale.

Here’s the new Octopath Traveler 2 character trailer introducing Castti and Ochette.

This means Square Enix introduced six characters from Octopath Traveler 2. The first trailer focused on Osvald and Partitio. The second looked at Temenos and Throne.
