Bandai Namco has released some new information about and images from Ni no Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom. As we already know, Kingdom Mode lets layers help Evan make a new, hopefully peaceful, kingdom called Evermore. It turns out, Evan will also get help from spirits called Higgledies on his adventure.

The new Ni no Kuni: Revenant Kingdom Evermore screenshots shows what happens as someone starts building things up in Kingdom Mode. We see how the base map of the kingdom will look, how different buildings can fill different spaces, that each new citizen can take on a different role in the community and how you can profit from a thriving town.

The Higgledies, meanwhile, seem to serve in a manner that calls to mind the original Ni no Kuni’s familiars. There are 100 of these spirits to find, and they join Evan and his party in the field. These can be used to create shortcuts when traveling or to provide extra offensive and defensive support in a fight.

Ni no Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom will come to the PlayStation 4 and PC on March 23, 2018.
