Editor’s Note: There will be major spoilers for the events of both the NieR Automata anime adaptation and the game below.

The trailer titled Promotion File 010 starts with a voice teasing to reveal “the truth.” A series of images resembling animatics of various characters and machine lifeforms from the anime series, including 2B and 9S, with lines of numbers appearing in the background as more voices join, foreshadowing the events that will take place in the new season. The trailer then ends with the YoRHa commander preparing the troops for “the final battle.”
