Square Enix announced that their action RPG NieR: Automata has reached a new milestone with 3 million in worldwide shipments and digital downloads since its launch in February 2017.
Back in March of this year, the Platinum Games-developed title was at 2.5 million. The first milestone of one million was reached in April 2017, 1.5 million in May 2017, and two million in September 2017.
The game has been quite the influence since its release, and it even has characters on the wishlist of BlazBlue: Cross Tag Battle producer Toshimichi Mori who recently shared his thoughts about adding them into the crossover fighter.
NieR: Automata is available on PlayStation 4 and PC.
