Vtubers from Nijisanji’s EN branch will be a part of a collaboration event with the anime series Code Geass, which will launch on March 1, 2024. While details on the exact form of the collaboration are sparse, the involvement of anime apparel company Iijan suggests it may involve merchandise of some kind.
The collaboration will involve seven Vtubers from Nijisanji EN’s Noctyx and Ethyria units, including Alban Knox, Fulgur Ovid, Uki Violeta, Sonny Brisko, Enna Alouette, Reimu Endou, and Millie Parfait. Reimu in particular is known to be an avid fan of the Code Geass series.
Iijan limited is an anime merchandise and apparel company based in Hong Kong, that has previously produced licensed merchandise for Tamagotchi, Tekken 8, and Akira Toriyama’s Sand Land. The official collaboration page is already live online.
Recently, Nijisanji Vtuber Ryushen announced they would be going on hiatus until April, 2024. Meanwhile, the Japanese city of Sendai will host performances of music from the Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion series in May, 2024.
The Nijisanji X Code Geass collaboration will launch on March 1, 2024. The original Code Geass anime series is available to watch on streaming services such as Crunchyroll, while the various Nijisanji vtubers usually stream from their respective Youtube channels.
