Nintendo Applies For New GameCube Controller, Smash Bros. Brawl, Pilotwings Trademarks

Nintendo recently applied for trademarks for the GameCube controller, as well as Super Smash Bros. Brawl and Pilotwings. [Thanks, Japanese Nintendo!] The GameCube controllers were trademarked for home video game machine and controller use. Meanwhile, here are the trademark applications for the latter two games: Both Super Smash Bros. Brawl and Pilotwings have been trademarked for video game program use, downloadable video game program use, among other uses. Super Smash Bros. Brawl is available for Nintendo Wii. The latest game in the Pilotwings series, Pilotwings Resort, is available for Nintendo 3DS.
