My Nintendo Japan’s First Gold And Platinum Rewards Announced

The Japanese My Nintendo website is now open. People who have an account can start earning Platinum and Gold Points that can be put toward Miitomo items, game discounts, Nintendo 3DS themes, and Nintendo 3DS and Nintendo Wii U games. There are 25 rewards immediately available.

Points for rewards can be earned in many ways. Platinum Points can be acquired by doing things like logging into Miiverse or the eShop weekly, performing actions in Miitomo, and linking accounts to your Nintendo Account. You can earn Gold Points by purchasing games.

 

The Miitomo rewards can all be redeemed with Platinum Points. You can get 1 game ticket for 85 Platinum Points, 5 tickets for 420 Platinum Points, and 10 game tickets for 250 Platinum Points. There is also a Mario costume for your Miitomo avatar that costs 250 Platinum Points.

 

3ds themes

 

There are two Nintendo 3DS Home themes available as My Nintendo rewards. You can get one with Mario or one with Donkey Kong. They are 200 Platinum Points each.

 

The game discounts allow people to take a certain percentage off of a Nintendo 3DS or Nintendo Wii U eShop title. The available discounts and their point prices are as follows.

  • 20% off of Brain Age: Concentration Training for the Nintendo 3DS – 600 Platinum Points
  • 20% off of Dr. Mario: Miracle Cure for the Nintendo 3DS – 230 Platinum Points
  • 20% off of Mario Kart 8 for the Nintendo Wii U – 950 Platinum Points
  • 20% off of New Super Mario Bros. 2 for the Nintendo 3DS – 750 Platinum Points
  • 40% off of The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask 3D for the Nintendo 3DS – 130 Gold Points
  • 40% off of New Super Mario Bros. U for the Nintendo Wii U – 160 Gold Points
  • 40% off of Ultimate NES Remix for the Nintendo 3DS – 105 Gold Points
  • 50% off of Mario & Donkey Kong: Minis on the Move for the Nintendo 3DS – 50 Gold Points
  • 50% off of Metroid: Other M for the Nintendo Wii U – 90 Gold Points
  • 50% off of Super Mario Galaxy for the Nintendo Wii U – 90 Gold Points

  • New Super Luigi U for the Nintendo Wii U – 240 Gold Points
  • Pikmin 3 Map Pack 2: Battle Enemies! Stages 7-10 for the Nintendo Wii U – 30 Gold Points
  • Super Mario 64 for the Nintendo Wii U – 120 Gold Points
  • Super Mario Land 2: 6 Golden Coins for the Nintendo 3DS – 50 Gold Points
  • Super Punch-Out! for the Nintendo Wii U – 100 Gold Points
  • WarioWare: Touched! for the Nintendo 3DS – 1,000 Platinum Points
