There’s been rumblings of a new Nintendo Switch model for some time now, but a report from The Wall Street Journal says that Nintendo will launch two new Switch models, launching as early as this summer.

The report states that one new Nintendo Switch version will have “enhanced features targeted at avid video gamers” although it also notes that it won’t be as powerful as the PlayStation 4 Pro or Xbox One X according to parts suppliers and software developers for Nintendo who have access to a prototype of the machine.

The other version is said to be a cheaper option aimed for a more casual audience, and being made as a successor to the Nintendo 3DS.

The Wall Street Journal reporter Takashi Mochizuki also added that people who’ve seen the two models said the new devices are “different from the original and you’d be surprised.”
