Nintendo’s Active Health Mystery Solved?

Today, Nintendo of Japan announced they are developing a Wii Body Check channel, a compliment program for Wii Fit and Personal Trainer: Walking that sends data from the two games to medical professionals. Three electronics manufacturers: Hitachi, Panasonic, and NEC have different plans on how to use the information.

Earlier this month we discovered Nintendo was working on something called Nintendo: Active Health. Nintendo of America and Europe, the region where Nintendo: Active Health was first discovered, have yet to announce what it is. Perhaps, it’s not a sequel for Wii Fit. Nintendo: Active Health sounds like it could be the international version of the Wii Body Check channel which will make its debut in Japan.
