Nippon Ichi Software and Acquire announced a new survival adventure game on PS4 and Switch called To All Mankind that is set in the ruins of Akihabara. This week’s Famitsu shares more details on the game which features character designs by Yu Akinashi and producer Gen Suganuma. [Thanks, Ryokutya2089.]

First, here are some details on the game’s five main characters:

Kyoka Shinto (CV: Mana Sato) – The always-energetic mood-maker. She’s into manga and anime.

Isana Shoni (CV: Yukino Tsubaki) – The mother figure of the group. She’s also a great cook.

Erina Kashi (CV: Nanahara) – A pure gamer.

Nami Komatsu (CV: Sana Hoshimori) – An energetic girl with good instincts. She’s more of an older-sister figure of the group.

Yuyuko Oura (CV: Mina Nakazawa) – A quarter French. She likes books and is full of all kinds of knowledge.

The Famitsu magazine also provided some info on the setting, which actually doesn’t have a single male character. It’ll tell the daily lives of the give girls that were introduced.

The girls originally went to Akihabara to go sightseeing, but when they woke up in their hotel, they found themselves in a completely empty world without another soul to be found and the city completely covered by vegetation.

In the game you’ll explore Akihabara, use tools, hunt wild animals, farm, go fishing in Kanda River, and more in order to survive.

To All Mankind releases in Japan on May 30, 2019 for PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch.
