Japan got three new virtual console games online today. Now gamers can pick up Kid Icarus and Zelda II: The Adventure of Link for 500 points a piece. Hudson brings out the sole PC Engine / TurboGrafx-16 game this week, R-Type II for 600 points. I was psyched to see Kid Icarus on the list so I gave it a shot and here’s a clip of it. Something to note is that this is the Famicom Disc version of Kid Icarus, which has a save feature instead of passwords seen in the NES version. The save feature is a lot more convenient than writing down passwords, but it is unknown if the US version will implement it or stick with the traditional NES release.
